22/01/2010 - City bash echoes New York craze
A NEW craze arrived in Liverpool as the city followed New York and hosted its first "speakeasy" event. Guest were invited to dress up in 1920s attire, donning their finest flapper dresses and smoking jackets for a night at The Noble House in Brunswick street. Guest included: srtictly Come Dancing runer-up Ricky Whittle, Dean Sullivan, Nicky Sanderson and actress Terri Dwyer...The bash continued in La Guarida, a discreet bar which is hidden away in the basement of the venue.
